Forget guys I'm getting a dog

I'm about at the point of saying forget guys and getting a dog, considering the fact that they're loyal and are always happy to see you. lol.
I was looking online and found this and thought it was pretty true:

Why A Dog Is Better Than A Man

  • Dogs don't feel threatened by your intelligence.
  • Dogs are already in touch with their inner puppies.
  • Dogs are very direct about wanting to go out.
  • Dogs think you are a culinary genius.
  • You can house train a dog.
  • Dogs feel guilt when they've done something wrong.
  • Middle-aged dogs don't feel the need to abandon you for a younger owner.
  • Dogs mean it when they kiss you.
  • Dogs don't care whether or not you shave your legs.
  • Dogs obsess about you as much as you obsess about them.

Goodbye Lufkin, Hello Home

You never realize how much you love being home until you're away from a while. 11 nights in a hotel will make you REALLY enjoy being back in your own bed, and an environment which doesn't cause you to breakout like none other.
Thursday night Lindsay came up to surprise us and work with us Friday and Saturday. Friday while Lindsay was working she started talking to this woman that was buying a ton of margarita mix and found out that the lady owned a night club of some sorts and the lady invited us to come out that night, we went, and it was nothing like we expected to say the least. We ended up staying just long enough for us to finish our drinks.
Saturday we figured we'd make up for the disappointment in the entertainment Friday so we talked to one of the locals to find a place to go dancing, it sounded like a fun place, but stuff came up and we didn't get to go :/

Blah Blah Weddings Blah

Do you ever have one of those days where something just hits you, and then it makes you depressed, at least just a little? All day wasn't like that, it just started being like that. Who knew Facebook could cause depression? lol. I guess it's just hitting me that so many friends are getting married within the next couple weeks and here I am, not even in a relationship anymore.
You wanna know what else is depressing? When your roommate was going to be one of the bridesmaids in your wedding, and she doesn't even invite you to hers. That makes you feel really good.
Ok, now that I have that off my chest, on to less depressing stuff. So work was interesting today. Nothing too crazy, just my dad's crazy ex came into the Sam's we're currently set up at. Thankfully she didn't see me, mainly because as soon as I saw her I turned my back to her and ducked behind our booth until she passed. Mom said that she probably wouldn't have recognized me, but I'm not sure I believe that.
Not too much other than that happened today, our sales have been getting better and I'm really happy about that, ready to see what out last weekend in Lufkin will bring!

Life

Well life has been a little crazy lately to say the least. To catch you up, almost 3 weeks ago my fiance of 4 years called it quits without giving me any sort of reason that made any sense. At first I was devastated, it still hits me occasionally, but mainly I'm at the point of he had his chance and it's his loss.
I've been staying busy with work and trying to just focus on advancing my career. As we speak I'm in Lufkin, TX running a roadshow. It's been interesting being in charge of a roadshow. Nothing like expecting to have help and on the 2nd day the girl quitting. lol. That made for some really long days and even more thankful to have Jeanette coming up for the second half. With her here and splitting the shifts with me it's given me time to do something other than work, eat, and sleep. Yesterday was her first day up here so I got off early, didn't feel like going back to the hotel so I got to goof around town, go to the Lufkin mall, and Ross. It was nice to be able to do whatever I wanted to do, and fit in a little retain therapy. lol.
I'd like to pause this blog to take a second to wish a very happy birthday to Meme, she's turning 32 years old plus tax. lol.
I'm not exactly sure what this blog will turn into, I figure it'll just be a mixture of work and personal things, and little things that made me laugh that day :)
